Frank Bunce
Today Frank Bunce an All Black rugby legend came to Carlton School to talk to us about the Westpac helicopter appeal and a bit about rugby. When Frank came into the hall we did a haka to welcome him in. After we did the haka he told us all about what the Westpac helicopter people do and we got to ask him some questions. The Westpac helicopter saves people where ambulances aren't able to go to like out at sea and out on mountains. Then the helicopter pilot Mark told us about what they use to get people from the sea which they get a diver to jump down into the water and they put down a big winch to pull them up. After that we took a class picture with him and he gave us his autograph which everyone wanted a copy of. Then he had a little pass around with the people who play rippa rugby. But sadly he had to go so we said goodbye to him and walked back to class.
